Now Open: A More Intentional Beginning for Your Child

Smarty Pants Montessori is now open in Cambridge, welcoming children into a thoughtfully prepared environment where learning is purposeful, independence is encouraged, and every child is known as an individual.
We created Smarty Pants Montessori for families seeking more than childcare. Our classrooms are designed to give children the time, guidance, and carefully selected materials they need to become confident, capable, curious learners.
A Carefully Prepared Montessori Experience
Every element of our classrooms has a purpose. Child-sized furnishings, authentic Montessori materials, hands-on activities, and an orderly environment allow children to explore independently, strengthen concentration, and develop skills at their own pace.
Rather than expecting every child to learn in exactly the same way, our educators observe and guide each child based on their individual development, interests, and readiness.
Small by Design
Our school community is intentionally intimate. Smaller classroom groups allow our educators to build meaningful relationships with children, understand their individual needs, and provide the focused guidance that is central to an authentic Montessori experience.
We are not focused on becoming the largest school. We are focused on creating an exceptional Montessori community for families who value independence, confidence, consistency, and a genuine love of learning.
Welcoming Our Founding Families
There is something special about joining a school in its earliest chapter. Our founding families are helping shape a close-knit community built around shared values, meaningful relationships, and a deep commitment to children’s development.
Enrollment is now open for our Toddler, CASA (Preschool), and Kindergarten programs. To preserve the quality and individual attention at the heart of our approach, registration is intentionally limited and availability remains only in select programs.
The 2026–2027 School Year Begins September 8
Families who would like their child to begin the new school year with us are encouraged to apply before the remaining spaces are filled. We also invite prospective families to arrange a private tour to experience our classrooms, meet our educators, and determine whether Smarty Pants Montessori is the right fit for their child.
